Deaf Ministry
The deaf ministry was established in the 1960s to minister to a deaf member of Our Redeemer and the deaf community.
Guest pastors use sign language to preach on various Sundays throughout the church year in the John of Beverly Chapel. On these Sundays, Our Redeemer offers a Bible study class and worship service using sign language, followed by a potluck fellowship. On the other Sundays, we have a deaf translator, Henry Cox, who leads a Bible class for the deaf and translates for them at the 10:45 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary.
