A new school year has begun and it is going to be a great one.  We are so happy to have many new families joining us this year.  Welcome to you all!
 
This will be a particularly exciting year for Our Redeemer Lutheran School.  We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary!  It is such a blessing that our congregation has supported the ministry of this school for such a long time.  For 50 years ORLS has been “putting faith in education” for children all over Dallas.  We are always excited when alumni come back to visit their “old” teachers.  It can bring a tear to the eye when they talk about the great memories they have of their time here.  We are also very excited when alum bring their own children back to attend ORLS.  What better evidence can you have that this is a great place for children?
 
The start of a new school year brings lots of new activities.  The volleyball season begins, Outdoor Education is coming up, school pictures, PTL Signature sale, “Donuts with Dad”, Spirit Day (with 50th anniversary shirts this year), and even lots of learning!  I pray that the Lord will continue to bless all that happens here, and I look forward to a wonderful school year.
