Note: New to our Holy Week lineup, The Easter Vigil is a special evening service held after sunset on Holy Saturday. It traces God’s story of salvation from creation through the Old Testament to Christ’s victory over death, using Scripture readings, hymns, and vivid contrasts like darkness and light. As the service progresses, the atmosphere moves from the quiet reflection of Lent to the joy of Easter, culminating in the celebration of Christ’s resurrection and the return of the Alleluia. Per the custom of the Christian Church for centuries, we will also welcome new members at this service as well as celebrate the Lord’s Supper. The service will begin in the narthex.
