Pastor Brent McGuire
Pastor McGuire was born in 1973 in Abilene, Texas. He majored in economics at Harvard University. After spending a year in law school at the University of Texas in Austin, he attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, graduating in 2000. He also received from Concordia Seminary his Master of Sacred Theology degree in 2011. In 2004, he was ordained at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he presently serves as senior pastor.
Pastor McGuire thoroughly enjoys working with the congregation’s day school. The children get to know Pastor not only through his leading chapel services each month and teaching religion classes throughout the year but also through his treating four students each week to tea and cookies. (The conversations at “Tea with Pastor” are never dull; however, Pastor has had to institute a two-cube limit on the sugar.)
Pastor McGuire lives with his wife Jill and daughters, Annie and Erin.
