The BFF project is dedicated to enhancing three core ministries of Our Redeemer:
- Our Christian day school
- Bible study programs
- Fellowship activities
Below are the proposed plans to support this mission.

New School Classroom-Storm Shelter
Our Redeemer Lutheran School (ORLS) is committed to delivering a high-quality education grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With nearly 250 students enrolled in PK-6th grade, our growing school aims to expand to 7th and 8th grades while addressing the demand for PK enrollment. To achieve this, additional classrooms are essential.
This proposed building will provide six new classrooms and serve as a state-approved storm shelter for the entire campus. The storm shelter is a necessary step in meeting safety requirements and ensuring space for growth.
Parking Lot Expansion
As our congregation and school continue to grow, so does the need for adequate parking. While our current parking meets day-to-day needs, special events often lead to overflow.
The new classroom-storm shelter will displace several parking spaces in the north horseshoe lot near Boedeker. The proposed parking lot expansion will not only replace these lost spaces but also increase overall capacity to support our growing community.
Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH)
The new Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) will be a 4,500 sq. ft. facility designed for flexibility and functionality. It will feature:
- A 3,000 sq. ft. space that can be divided into two rooms.
- A catering area, restrooms, audio-visual capabilities, and storage.
- Covered walkway access from the Senior Center door.
This hall will primarily enhance our fellowship and Bible study ministries by providing more space, better seating arrangements, and superior audio-visual capabilities. It will replace the current Fellowship Hall, which lacks capacity and proper acoustics.
Additionally, the MPH will serve as a venue for various events, including wedding receptions, congregational meetings, guest lectures, school performances, and even external rentals. Together with the classroom-storm shelter, it will improve campus security by creating a more enclosed Courtyard area.
